Navy Invationals 2008

us attempting to jump at the same time :D

yayy! we are cup runner-ups! i dont care whatever the medal states. but anyway, i had fun today!

this is probably the most tiring comp i had so far, and also one that i couldnt believe everyone ran so much! we were just running and running and running. each game got faster and faster until we reached the sr game, everyone was dying after the first doubles!

scary!we played our first sudden death today! everyone was super tensed up, esp those on the field! the sidelines were screaming like crazy! but it was fun. lots of adrenaline. except that i got scolded by that scary senior on field when it was down to 3 on 3 :(

scary senior: 'loop me!'
me: (standing there staring at her blankly)
scary senior: ' loop me!!!' (eyes enlarging)
me: 'dump!'
scary senior: 'loop me!'
me: 'dump!'
scary senior: (dumps and stares at me fiercely wif her eyes popping out like she was going to kill me)

anyway, tp was super fast! didnt regret losing to them in the end. but we're still the top jc! (:

had so much fun taping so many of the team members up. cuts, ankles, knees, bruises...haha i bet i'll be super experienced and my taping will be so perfect at the end of the year! heheh ugly tan lines, dm wins hands down! hers was the most classic.

thankyou seniors for coming down to support us today! we would have been super tired and flustered if you all hadnt played for us/did the admin jobs (:
and good job team! it was fun playing wif everyone of you today!

i'm so sick and tired from doing homework. its like a never ending pile of stuff. the more you do, the more it gets. its like multiplier effect! heheh

so tired that i cant concentrate on anything.

oh! today was super duper exercise day. morning trg followed by pe then immediately aft tt is trg. then tmr there's trg and navy comp on sat! my muscles will just give way n i'll turn paralysed on sunday.

i feel like eating the m&ms on my table. its printed on the packet, 'eat me!' on the m&m picture. so tempting.

i shall never wear specs to trg ever again.once i repaired it, it got smashed again a while later. but what to do? i brought my specs case, contacts case but didnt bring any contact lenses.

my legs are feeling very heavy. they feel like breaking when i ran fartleks. must be cos of those excess calf muscles.

went to chinatown to shop and walk around and i nearly got crushed by half of singapore. this irritating woman behind me kept pushing me with both her hands when there wasnt even enough space for anyone to move. then i turned around and glared at her. she apologised and guess what? 1 second later both her hands were on me again.

firecrackers were lit up twice but i missed both. only managed to catch a glimpse of the fireworks while standing behind a block of HDB flats.

oh haha the only good thing was the food at maxwell food centre.

anyway, trg yest was super funny and fun, esp the random games that we played after that. was voted unamiously to be the catcher and once i roared, everyone just became mushrooms! haha see my power?? (:

yay my muscles are no longer aching! that means back to running on mon! :(

and a few of us counted that we run: (6x2)-fartleks puls warmup +(7x2)-2.4km puls warmup for pe +(11)-4km plus warmup = 37 rounds every week!!

that makes up to 37x0.4=14.8km every week! woah! i feel so fit (:(:

U piss me off!!! rahhrahhrahh. this is gg to be an angsty post.

today i woke up gg to sch feeling very very tried. must be from the lack of sleep plus trgs and many many other orientation stuff over the past week. wasnt in the best of moods and these stupid people had to piss me off.

i dont know how you ever managed to miscount so many heads going for the dinner; how irresponsible you were when you told the boy to take public transport down on his own when you yourself dun really know where the place is, while the rest are nicely placed into cabs; how disorganised you were even when planning such a big event; how you made us wait for so long which all ended up to nothing; how you treated us like transparent when we walked in; how you didnt even bother to save any food for us when it was supposed to be a HOUSE dinner, knowing that we're arriving later; how selfish you were in only saving the dishes that your gf liked and didnt bother about the rest of the 10 pple that were on their way there, looking forward to the meal, only to be hugely disappointed at the state of the food and your attitude. it was mainly your actions that really angered us instead of the food.

i didnt expect those words, actions and behaviour to come from you. it totally spoilt the whole night. i'm sorry to say, but your interpersonal skills suck. xl must have puked because of your disgusting and shocking behaviour. i dont know what else to say, but can you just sometimes pause for a moment and place yourself into others' shoes and take a look at what we see of you now? if you want to succeed, you should try to gain the support of the people, their faith and trust in you.
but right now, you've just lost mine.
oh, i'm sure it wouldnt matter cos there's still 59 other pple behind you.

naked fish--the fish was really 'naked'. all i saw was cucumbers swimming in a pool of sauce when it was supposed to be 'sweet n sour fish'. after the horrible experience the first time, and coupled with today's horrifying experience, i doubt there'll be any chance that i'm ever gg out for any meals with you/planned by you again. spare me, i'm terrified.

i'm hungry. even when i was supposed to have eaten an 11 course buffet dinner.
rahhhhhhhhrahhhhhhhhhh

my poor muscles are aching like crazy from the fartleks and trg on thurs. 5 rounds of fartleks kills. and it hasnt gotten any better over the past 2 days. lousy muscles. now i can only do stuff with minimal movement. i feel like i'm shoulder downwards paralysed.rahhhrahh

anyway the past week has been okay, cos orientation proper only starts next week and its also where all the fun comes in. but these few days have been very tiring, returning home late from dance prac, trg n cca carnival. 3 days of school and i'm alr suffering from the lack of sleep :(

today we had dance prac and our last full dress rehersal. today was the day when i felt the most heartache and disappointment. today was also the day when i felt the most emotions welling up within me- anger, frustration, unbelief, sadness.
i must say, i dont question your ability of being a good leader, and am proud to say that i have witnessed instances where you've really lead the whole group going, boosted our morales, and always being patient with all our requests and complaints. i also acknowledge that you may have a different leading style as compared to us. but whatever the case, i juz want to tell you that we werent trying to argue with you. we only wanted to thrash out the problem tgt by giving our personal opinions. all we had hoped for was for you to look at things from our angle, but your reaction and comments totally broke our hearts. why did you think we had peresvered on for so long even as each day gets tougher? why do you think we always try our best to make it for all the practices and stay till so late? why do you think we have volunteered our service right in the first place? why do you think we even felt our hearts aching today? i think the least you should have done was to give us some encouragement. we have all put in so much effort into this and i really dun want it to end like that. all those laughter n fun that we've once experienced in the past months, lets relive it once again. lets all put our very best into this and show them who rocks the floor!
oohh yes, many many thanks to sj, xl, rb and many others for being there for me (:

back from nz a few days ago and i'm still having a slight bit of jetlag, sorethroat and blocked ears. argh.
but anyway, it was fun, with all those sightseeing and going from one lake to another. and my cam went out of space cos 50% of the pics in it was of lakes. in a span of 14 days, we travelled from christchurch-greymouth-queenstown-arrowtown and back to christchurch again. it was a pity we missed the sunday market, but overall the trip was worthwhile!
summary of the trip:
1. saw lakes lakes and more lakes
2. the things in nz are huge (the meals, the people and even the flies)
3. climbed fox glacier!
4. witnessed a whole flock of sheep crossing the highway
5. pretty roadside flowers!(and they come in different colours somemore)
6. cousins caught a small spider and bumblebee and placed them in a plastic bag. the loser bumblebee died cos it stung the bag.
7. cherry and prune picking
8. eating pies and potato everyday
9. one bowl of white rice in nz costs 2 bucks!
10. caught an SIA plane on the way back and was greeted by air stewardess that were totally not up to standard, faulty gaming and movie system, disgusting meals.
11. oh yes and i must mention this: the toilets there are fantastically clean! even the public ones. and they always have toilet paper.
12. i love the no-mad-rushing style of life there! (which has also caused my brain to work slower)

that aside, these few days have been a kind of mad rush to get things done before school reopens TMR :(
homework, getting stuff ready, dance practices etc. hahah am finally getting the hang of the dance, and the whole walk-in is quite cool!

so fast yet another year has passed in front of my eyes, and looking back, i cannot help but thank all those who have made my year in a new school and outside school so memorable, and the whole team, for the fun, laughter and joy that brightened up my days. arghargh and this also means that As are coming!:(

2007 is now history, all that i can do is to make 2008 better.

may love, joy, peace fill your 2008.
