ISSAC touch comp today. was the slackiest comp i've ever played with loads of long breaks in between, but yet a very tiring one. we managed to hang in there for 20plus mins during the last game! woahhhh.

anyway, good job everyone! even though the ending was not what we expected for, yet i must say, i'm really very proud of each and everyone for hanging in there even though we all were dying. doesnt matter if we've lost, doesnt matter if we were the ones that made silly mistakes during the game, what matters is that we've all learnt something through playing the games and that we've tried our best and had fun together on the field. that's all that matters. and i guess one good lesson that i've learnt today is not to give up even though the odds are against you, even though you know you're on the losing end of things. its the process of going through it, the determination, perserverance, willpower, discipline, that utimately makes the result precious and worth fighting for. like what sam said, even though we are not able to control the external things that affect us (the pressure, the weather), we are always able to control the internal (our mind, fears, emotions). and these are usually the things that will dictate our actions and how we utimately will fare.

oh! and SA was really good! their changeover speed was like woah! haha. and there was this small girl in the U17 category who was really really fast and i think no one could touch her cos she was so small sized.
